While attending John Carroll University, Umberto P. Fedeli started in insurance business working with closesly held businesses.
Umberto became a partner in a firm that later became The Fedeli Group in North Olmsted, Ohio.
Umberto hired his first employee who worked in the Employee Benefits Division.
Umberto acquired the business from his partner and changed the name to The Fedeli Group.
The Fedeli Group moved to Independence, Ohio. The floor was shared with the radio station 99.5 WGAR until 1998.
The Fedeli Group launched its first website to highlight the business. The printed newsletter, TrendSetter was also established.
The Fedeli Group launched its first publication called, Fedeli Factor, which highlights clients and business updates from the year.
The Fedeli Group went from the traditional gold & maroon and rebranded to the vibrant gold, dark gray and gray.
The Fedeli Group acquired a neighboring business, KAZ Company, to help the expand its Medicare specialty.
The Fedeli Group acquired Aviation Risk Management Associates (ARMA) in Illinois, which has been renamed to TFG Aviation Risk Management.

Marc Casciani joined The Fedeli Group as Chief Operating Officer in 2023. He received both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. He is grateful to be a servant leader in his community by sitting on the local school board.
