Employee Spotlight: Keith Hartzell

Happy Friday! Today is the start of our employee spotlight. Once a month we will highlight one of our friends here at The Fedeli Group. Keep reading to learn more about this months pick, Keith Hartzell!

Q: How did you get your start in the industry?

A: I started in the insurance industry, and here at The Fedeli Group, as an intern in 1998.

Q: How long have you been at TFG?

A: I have been with The Fedeli Group for almost 20 years now.

Q: What is the best part of your job?

A: The best part of my job is when I have an opportunity to experience and participate in a collaborative effort with a team of associates to help find a solution for one of our clients. In my role, I see examples of this happening on a daily basis, and I especially enjoy the opportunities when I am able to participate directly myself. We have a dynamic group of people here, and when we work together we really shine. It’s a great feeling, and it’s the main reason I enjoy working at The Fedeli Group.

Q: What are three words you would use to describe The Fedeli Group? A: Collaborative, Nimble, Welcoming Q: What is your favorite quote or passage?

A: I really enjoy “The Man in the Arena” speech that Teddy Roosevelt gave in 1910. If you’re not familiar with it, I’d encourage everyone to look it up. If you are familiar with it, I’d recommend you read it again. I find myself referring back to it 3 or 4 times a year when I’m doubting or second guessing myself.
